By installing or using Glyph Launcher, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.

Who we are

Glyph Launcher is developed and operated by Fullancia LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. The app is available at glyphlauncher.com and distributed as an Android application (package: app.glyphlauncher).

What the app does

Glyph Launcher replaces your Android home screen with a minimal launcher. You can switch back to your previous launcher at any time through your device's system Settings under Default Apps.

Beta status

Glyph Launcher is currently in private beta, distributed as a sideloaded APK. The app is provided as-is. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice during the beta period. There is no paid tier or in-app purchase system at this time.

Your data and your device

Glyph Launcher stores your home screen layout, preferences, and settings locally on your device via AndroidX DataStore. This data is included in Android's standard cloud backup if you have backup enabled. We have no ability to recover or restore your data on your behalf. You are responsible for your device and its data.

Uninstalling apps from the drawer

Glyph Launcher includes the ability to uninstall apps directly from the app drawer using the REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES permission. Android will always prompt you to confirm before any app is uninstalled. We are not responsible for apps you choose to uninstall through this feature.

Weather data

Weather information is sourced from Open-Meteo, a free, open-source weather service. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of weather data. Open-Meteo does not provide a service level agreement on their free tier. Do not rely on Glyph Launcher weather data for safety-critical decisions.

Permissions

Glyph Launcher requests certain Android permissions to function. Runtime permissions (location, contacts, calendar) are requested only when you attempt to use the relevant feature and can be revoked at any time in your device's system Settings. Revoking a permission disables the associated feature.

Acceptable use

You may use Glyph Launcher for personal, non-commercial use on your own Android device. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or any part of it without our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Glyph Launcher is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fullancia LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Glyph Launcher, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or missed calendar events.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
