Privacy Policy

Effective May 9, 2026 · Fullancia LLC

We do not collect personal data. We do not run analytics. We do not show ads. The only data that ever leaves your device is your approximate location, sent to a free open-source weather service to fetch your local forecast.

What leaves your device

Location data sent to the weather service

When you enable weather on your home screen, Glyph Launcher sends your device's latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com) to fetch a local forecast. No account, no API key, and no user identifier is included in that request. Open-Meteo is an open-source weather service and their privacy policy is available at open-meteo.com/en/terms.

You can disable weather entirely in Settings, which stops all location requests.

Your email address, if you signed up on the website

If you submitted your email at glyphlauncher.com to join the beta, that address was collected by the website signup form and stored in our CRM for the purpose of contacting you about the beta. This is entirely separate from the app and is never transmitted by the app itself.

What stays on your device

Glyph Launcher accesses the following on your device but never transmits it:

What we store locally

Your preferences are stored on your device using AndroidX DataStore. This includes your font and color choices, home screen layout, gesture mappings, weather settings, and display preferences. These preferences are included in Android's standard cloud backup if you have that enabled on your device. We cannot access or recover your preferences from our end.

What we don't do

Children

Glyph Launcher is a general-purpose app with no features directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
